Reflections

Perhaps two of the illest children's books ever, swagged out covers.

My take on things:  It's been a fun ride so far, met people from all walks of life, young and old, learned so many things about the human body, seen how messed up it can become, witnessed the wonders of medicine first hand,  applied lotion to my hands a million times from so much hand washing, been asked my age a million times, received compliments and been called names, been influenced by doctors & other nurses, worked along side some dope co-workers, gone on Twitter at 3 AM to see everyone's club tweets on weekends, 12 hour shifts, going to work when the sun goes down, walking out the doors like the school bell rang with sun risen, driving the opposite directions of traffic, taking flight, hands that heal, rocking Jordan's with my scrubs, or my red patent leather AF1's, earned some nick names, like Doogie Howser, and Reggie, sleeping while everyone's working, working while everyone's sleeping, warming up lean cuisines in the break room at 2 AM, hearing stories from all kinds of people, working with coworkers, eating with coworkers, putting on dancing shoes with coworkers, putting on a record after I hop out the shower, flexibility, blessed to be able to travel, looking forward to traveling, questioning why the body reacts in certain ways, or why patients improve, or react the opposite, learning as much as I can, still so much to learn it won't stop, dealing with stress, multi-tasking like no other, reflecting on it all, waking up, strings of days off, seeing the homies, switching time zones, making plans to sleep in, doing it all over again,  wishing success to all my homies, so one day we can all take trips, and eat dinner in foreign lands, take pictures, meet more people, share stories, experience the unexperienced, come back home, and blog about it.
